Using the Tab key to switch fields
Use the Tab key to move from one form field to another
Microsoft Word Bonus
When working with tables in Microsoft Word, if you run out of rows, simply hit “Tab” when you are in the last cell and it will create a new row automatically.
The “Tab” key is a very handy button. Dating back to when computers shipped without a mouse to get around, people would use the Tab key to switch between elements. It is still useful to have today when filling out long forms, or trying to move between cells within a table (in Word for example).
